Chrisy- You may not recognize anyone because most of them are younger than you (and most not from RM). But they are (from right) My husband, Doug, Myself, Susan Maggert Mears, Kevin Daily, Dorothee Hess, Aaron ( I can't remember his last name, sorry Aaron) and Sheila Aldrich Dauth. Les Sandlin is not in that picture, I guess he was lost then. If you don't know him, he's the other guy in the pix and the blonde with Susan in one of the pix is Amy Wiggens. The little boy is my son, Kalem. I thought that if you put your cursor on the picture that the names would come up, I have them all labeled. Sheila, we're working on Orlando, we just found out that that week is Kalem's first week of school. So I'm not sure now what we're gonna do. We'll figure something out, you know I won't let ya drink alone !!! ha. Love ya- Mis
Missi - Can you give names for the picture on the bottom, right? I only recognize one person... and that'd be you. :)
Chrisy '82

And without a trash can and everything! I was sooo proud. Guys- we had a great time despite the fact that the clubs, food, service and hotel ammenities were slightly lacking!!! It's all about the company, It was wonderful to see ya'll again And we're really going to try to come to San Antonio, Thanks for being so sweet to my son, he thought all my friends were so nice ( the kid needs to get out more ha) Les- Now Kalem knows the rules, don't ever repeat anything Les says or does! DALLAS...May 24-25...I thought we were eating at ON THE BORDER Sat night...oh I guess not...Sus, you survived Les picking on you, Dorothy survived...despite not doing this since she was 18-her choice of drink for Sat nite...water. Didn't you guys play football together??? What a birthday celebration for Aaron! WOO HOO Happy Birthday man!Les...we will have to find you that dog...with the tongue. How long was it to drive to the Galleria??? FOREVER! Thank goodness the return trip was much shorter! Okay who bought a new outfit at the Galleria? Missi, Sus and Dorothy, how many black shirts did I try on...was it like 20? Oh then we had to buy shoes. YOu have really pretty feet...Oh BTW Les...have we told you you shop like a woman...? Thanks for being my shoe consultant...even though that guy was totally winking at you! Oh yeah Missi...don't iron that shirt...WHOOSH...what a bummer! What was up with the waiters failure or lack thereof of dental hygiene...EEEWWWW!!! Can we say Joe's Crab Shack...NOT! Missi drank 3, yes I said 3 drinks Sat. night and she was DRUNK...oh I failed to mention they were the HUGE fishbowl drinks...heehee. Who's not playing nice this time! You're in TIME OUT! I think we had a little too much fun in that taxi ride home Sat night...I think Kevin was in heaven...Doug I was soooo glad I wasn't the only person falling asleep at 5 am...while Missi and Kevin kept the party going as we all know Les totally putzed out on us....smile!!! We still love you! Hey, "It's still ALL good!"
I miss you guys and am looking forward to another mini gathering in San Antonio in AUGUST! with ORLANDO not being too far from then! It was sooooo awesome seeing you all even though our group was small. We made the best of the most interesting situations. Les, wow to honor us with your presence flying all the way in from St Louis...you ROCK!
Thank you all for your loving, parental support and undying FAHS love in dealing with the stress of my daughters illness. Who is better than you?
WOW...what can I say...I had an awesome time...thank you! I am sooo tired...I need to get some rest before the next time...what the hell do we have to talk about until 5 am every night/morning...apparently everything. I think the real thing is not wanting our gatherings to end!Until next time...

thinking of all those who have kept everyone safe. dont do anything silly this memorial day weekend that would defeat the purpose of those who served. see you in orlando. kris stewart
Amen to that Chrisy. We must NEVER forget those who gave all. (Being in the military this really hits home). Jeez, can't believe it has been 20 years. Like Bob said, it sometimes just seems like a short while ago...After 4 years here, we are moving from the UK to McGuire AFB in New Jersey in July, and will be travelling visiting relatives around the timeframe of the reunion. One of our stops is Florida, but don't know if the timeframes will match...hope so!! If not, hope you all have one hell of a time, and show everyone just how Frankfurt can party!!

Happy Memorial Day, everyone! Chrisy '82
To all the fellow members of the military who put their lives on the line to defend this great nation of ours: THANK YOU! Everyone have a great Memorial Day weekend. Ken Bush '86
Have a great holiday weekend everybody and remember no drinking and driving!!
Sue 88'
Hello everyone from '82. To echo Chrisy's post from 5/17, there are still rooms for the $79 rate. I booked for Wed-Sun. If you leave an e-mail address they send back a cool web link with maps/hotel info/etc. I recognize a lot of you guys and gals. Hope a few of you remember me. I've been looking over my yearbooks and if I don't think about it, it seems like only a short time ago that I graduated, and not 20 years. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.

Hi, David:
I'm sorry that you didn't get my updated e-mail addy. I forwarded a change to Teresa (sorry, to point fingers here Teresa :(!!!!), but it was about six months ago when I did that. Here's my e-mail addy: cutefuf@hotmail.com
Has anyone heard from Joyce Curd? She and I were the best of buds at FAHS. I won't be able to attend the reunion as I have prior commitments during that time. Bummer! Party everyone without me :(
Kay '82
David Higgs... imagine running into you here! I'm going to plead the 5th on this one until I consult an attorney. Know of any good ones?
Chrisy
Hey Chrisy Peirolo '82, I have it on very good authority that your SINGING capabilities are beyond reproach! I ran into Gloria and Emilio at the taping of the Billboard Latin Music Awards last Thurs. at S. Beach, they said to "hurry up with the new demo!". Sorry to pass that on here and "out" you if it was a secret, but all the email addresses I have for you are no longer good. (he he)
Can't wait to here you sing in Orlando!!!!! And don't forget us "little people" when you're the star!
David Higgs '82
Hey David Higgs, Kelli Keiper, and Chrissy P.! Good to see some '82ers still alive and kicking. Where are the rest? Hope to see you in O-town in August. FAHS '82 Uber Alles! -Mark Acker
I just made hotel reservations for Robin Walters and me. There ARE rooms still available at the $79 rate... FYI.
Chrisy '82
Hello Class of '82, it's been 20 long years since most of us have seen each other and our list of attendees is missing A LOT of names. Everyone please try to attend and pass the word to others!!!!
Hello Kay Keiper, your cyberthinker email addy just kicks back....what's up with that?
Looking forward to seeing everyone!!!
David Higgs '82
Okay, who remembers me? It's Kelli "Kay" Keiper here. I was in the class of '82. Hi guys!
Hugs and Kisses,
Kay (Keiper) Hester
Hello everyone!! Just another update for your viewing pleasure. Everything is going smooth as far as the gathering is concerned. It's seems that the days are just taking their sweet time getting to August. I want to thank those of you who have volunteered to man the registration table for our little event. As you can see most of the times have been filled. Some of you have gotten with me in regards to a specific time, but it may have been filled by the time you responded. There are a few slots with only one individual working so if you would like to assist them during this time I would appreciate that. Just let me know via email which time you can help. If your listed on a time that isn't going to work for you, please let me know ASAP.
Wednesday - 12:00 - 2:00 pm - Pam & Philip Alexander 2:00 - 4:00 pm 4:00 - 6:00 pm - Teresa Ronnebaum 6:00 - 8:00 pm - Daphne & Mark Snyder

Some of you may have already seen the following information on the Orlando guestbook at www.fahs.org. Sheila Aldrich Dauth has asked me to put the following info in regards to some Frankfurt Alumni getting together in Dallas next Friday and Saturday, 24th and 25th of May. We are staying at the Holiday Inn on Main Street just minutes from the West End. The number you can call to make reservations is 214-741-7000. If anyone is interested in getting together with the group can contact Sheila at brenmom98@hotmail.com or 281-651-8751. There isn't anything special going on, were just getting together for a pre-Orlando party. Hope to see some of the Texas folks in Dallas next week.

Hello Everyone,
Thanks for the Congrats on our newest family member. Now on to the Atlanta mini we had this weekend. As Rob Lynch stated, we had a blast. Here were the attendees; Jumbo-Tron Teri Hall, Wasted away again Robbie Lynch, Loud but Loveable Steve Bush, and Boogie Fever Ken Bush. We had a great time and look forward to seeing everyone in Orlando. We are challenging the Dallas bunch to out do us. We have photos of our great adventures in Atlanta and Teri will be posting them soon. See ya'll later.
LOL, Steve Bush '87
I just wanted to be the first to throw in my two cents after the conclusion of the Atlanta mini-reunion. I had a great time and my wife loved getting to meet some of my old friends. Although I was feeling a bit under the weather after our night out running the streets of Buckhead, it was well worth it. We even managed to have one of our own appear on the Jumbo Screen at the Braves stadium to answer a trivia question. And in case anyone is wondering, yes, she got it right! Steve's got the pictures of it. Thanks to everyone for this weekend, can't wait to do it all over again.....everything except the feeling bad part....
Rob Lynch 86

P.S. Does anyone remember me?
Hey you all...or rather it should be ya'll! Just wanted to share an open INVITE to anyone who wants to join us for a little pre Orlando party in Dallas Friday May 24 and Saturday May 25 (Memorial Day Weekend). We will be getting together at the Hotel listed below in the bar for happy hour on Friday...who ever can make it in that day, then we will be off to The Dallas West End for the night (probably grab something to eat and party). Saturday will be open but I am sure we can figure out something to do! Saturday night we are planning on dinner at On the Border and then another night out in the West End. There is plenty to do down there so we can move around if we get tired of one place...
We will be checking out on Sunday so that you can spend the rest of the holiday weekend with family friends, whoever.
The Hotel listed below is where a number of us will be staying. You can call the hotel directly at 214-741-7700. I believe Susan Maggart Mears said that she had seen a quote of 89.00 a night on line and she asked the hotel if they would honor that rate and they said yes. Or you can go to Orbitz.com and book your reservation for $92.25.(if I remember the rate correctly) Remember you can save money if you room with somebody...just a thought.
This is a great opportunity for us to get together...especially if any of you can't make it to Orlando. Come and join us! If you can't go out for the whole night at least come and join us for dinner Sat. night!
Let me know via email (brenmom98@hotmail.com) so that I can get reservations for dinner Sat. night! OR you can call me 281-651-8751.
Please share this with any other FAHSers in the Texas area that you think may be interested!
Holiday Inn DALLAS-ARISTOCRAT, TX 1933 Main St., Dallas, TX 75201
The people who are for sure coming are:
Missi Hildebrand Wedemeyer and her husband Doug (an honorary FAHSer:-)) Susan Maggart Mears Les Sandlin (yes he is flying in all the way from St Louis!!!) and myself...SHeila Aldrich Dauth
Can't Wait!

Robert Gottfried
P.S. And yes I will be in Orlando
Hey Missi, I found Joe through his sister. I'll send you the info on him. Turns out he's in Fort Meyers, Fla. I'm hoping he'll come to Orlando. I'm keeping an eye on those Dallas fares. With any luck, I should be able to come. As for the beach walks, the invitation to visit is always open. Sun, sea ... good for the soul. By the way, did Doug like his message? :) Michelle 86', I put the call out and should have an answer by early next week. Chels
Hey Missi & Sheila. Mis, I did call the Holiday Inn you suggested. The rates are a bit higher but it's w/in walking distance. We'd probably pay the difference in cab fare anyway. Sheila, you mentioned looking into hotels while you were in Dallas this past wknd. Any luck? Or should we stick with the Holiday Inn? Les, hope you will change your mind. We were looking forward to you coming! Let me know what you all want to do. We do need to get the rooms reserved. Let's get "Happy Hour" to Orlando started!! xoxo Susan '84
Missi, I think the last I heard Les is not going to be able to make it either...the show he was coming in for his boss decided not to do so....I am trying to see if he will come in anyway...probably not though. What were the 2 hotels you recommended to Sus? I personally think if we had to pay 10.00 higher to be with in walking distance it would be better. As for Eddie, Roy...I have mentioned it to them I was waiting for us to firm things up. Hugs, Sheila D, 85
Hey Chels, I forgot, Dougie said you found Joe. He couldn't remember where you said he was though. How'd ya find him and how can I get ahold of him? Let me know when you get a chance. Luv- Mis
Susan, Sheila, Les... I see Erica's out on Dallas, Sus, have you found anything out about hotel? Are we still on? Les? Shiela, what about Eddie and Roy? Ya'll let me know, it's coming up quick, we're still in if you are. Darrell, I agree with Tank, hope you can make it! After all it was the Military that gave all of us such a wonderful opportunity to experience all that we have!!! Les, did you get my email about Kalem? I'll send you a check when I know the prices. Just drop me a line when ya have time, tell Cass I said hi. Lisa, Chels, it was great talking to both of you, wish I could be there for some of those walks and talks on the beach! Well guys, I'm counting down the days till the big "O" ha that sounded so wrong! LOL Take care everyone- Missi (Hildebrand) Wedemyer '84
Ok CC Rider,
It was YOU!!! LOL! Gosh, that was on March 30th. What's up with that?
Michelle '85
CC Rider, I think I know who you are, and if I'm right, it's been a little over a month since I left that message. Why is it that you are just now saying something about it?
Michelle Shawgo '85
CC Rider, I think you're going to have to e-mail me. mshawgo@msn.com
Michelle '85
Is CC Rider your real name?
Michelle '85
Michelle Shawgo........you don't know who this is? You left me a voicemail message not long ago..... CC Rider :0)
Ok, who is CC Rider?
Michelle Shawgo '85
Hey Darrell, what a blast to hear from you. Hey man first of all let me say "keep up the good work". It's because of the men and woman of the Armed Forces doing thier job over there that we here can have a "Gathering" in Orlando. I hope Uncle Sam gives you time to make it. Hang tough buddy.
Tank
Darrell Brown 83' here. I'm currently in Kuwait, but if I get back as scheduled I'll make it. There aren't that many "Class of 83" folks on the list. I believe Densie Sheldon (White) and Waynette Hood (Traub) will be there. Tank, look forward to seeing ya again. Les, I should know by the end of the month, so I'll shoot you a check then. Thanks for putting this together. darrell.brown@jaber.af.mil (deployed) darrell.brown@shaw.af.mil (stateside)
Hey Michelle, 86 i have sent out reminders about the gathering to class of 85 on classmates and have gotten a couple more inquiries. I figure I will do it again in a couple of weeks and again mid June and see if anybody will come at the last minute...my thinking is it is worth a try anyway.
Sheila, 85
Looks like this is going to be a blast. Suni (Miller) Zmich told me all about it and I am trying REALLY hard to be able to come. Cant wait!
Donna (Divelbliss) Epstein '86

ahhh, I just love it when more family members join in! What took ya so long!LOL The first time I wrote a post on this site, I was in tears telling everyone how I couldn't believe I found something like this! It's a wonderful feeling and let me tell you, everything your feeling right now, we all have it! Check out the regular guestbook archives someday when you have time!
Chels the e-mail is coming at ya!
Michelle 86
I'll second that, Gumby '86!! Well, I'll second just about everything that I've read at this site. I am also a long time reader, first time writer, (so to say)!! I do not even have the words to express the feelings that I have of the "family" that I held dear in Germany. I just can't wait to see everyone again. Tank, your memories of Spain are the same as mine, and I went in '87, seems as though the place held its wonder and excitement. The Revolution with the laser show, the sangria (and straw), the sangria (and straw), the sangria (and straw) and then waking up on the beach just to start the whole thing over again. You remember that Sue '88. Girl, I don't know what happened but I lost you email address. I was just in Charleston!! (Have you moved yet? Tell Rob I said "hello" and he needs to come to Orlando, so then he'll understand where we came from) I drove to PA to visit, and thought about you while filling up at the "Pilot" in west Charleston. Now, Sue I do expect a special-made glitter band from my PA roomie. Hope everyone is doin' great, and I’m counting the days.
Lorie McMuldren ‘87
Alright Gumby '86!!! We're glad to have you!!!
Michelle Shawgo '85
I have been reading this guest book everyday since I discovered the website in December, but this is the first time that I have decided to submit comments. For years, I have wondered about all of the people I went to school with and have reminisced about all of the experiences that I had while attending high school in Germany. So, you can only imagine the joy I felt in actually finding this website. I absolutely agree with the sentiment that our high school was special and that we all have a connection because of the unique opportunity that we were given. I am so grateful for having had the chance to live in Germany, to experience the culture and for the friends I left behind after graduation. I will be attending the reunion in Orlando and while I may know only a handful of people, just being there will somehow fill the void that I’m sure almost every one us has experienced since leaving FAHS. I'm counting down the days till I arrive on 8/15.
Gumby ‘86
Michelle, I've written four pieces over the past four years about military brats, web sites and the reunions. For coverage for this, I have a couple of suggestions. If your serious, send me your phone number (ccarter@ap.org), and let's talk about it. Meanwhile, I hope this finds everyone well. Glitter writsbands, German bier, old friends ... I'm counting the days ... :) Chels 87
Michelle, Send them my way if you want them filled. I will surely do it. I make a pretty good Weissen Bier. Here's the address 105 Briarwood Dr. Starkville, MS 39759 See you in Orlando. Ken Bush '86
Hi everybody! I crave oranges everytime I look at this guestbook! Missi, Shelia, Sue, and the gang I am going to have to cancel my plans to join you in Dallas. Gina N. '84 just called, she and the kids are coming to visit for the long weekend. But I will see you all in Orlando! Tank!!!! How the hell are you? Glad to hear you will be joining us! I am so excited I can hardly stand it!
Erica '85
Man, you guys have me all teary eyed and shit!!! What the hell is it, what freaking spell is cast over us like this, can we PLEASE just get our own STATE!!!! I just wanna live by each and every one of you!!!!!LOL My hubby just thinks our reunions is a big drunken party for a bunch of 30-40 somethings! AND I dated him when I went to FAHS! The outsiders will just never get it!
Tank, tell Jesse and Tommi they HAVE to go!!!!! CHARGE IT!!!!LOL They won't regret it! It will be the best debt they ever had to pay, if there is such a thing!!! You really had chills running up my spine talking about Spain, the best freakin 10 days of my life!!!! (It was 10 days wasn't it?)! OMG, sleeping on the beach, drinking at whatever time it was AND the LAZER shows, I thought I was hallucinating! Just kidding! I actually have photo's of them too!
Chrisy, we never age, just get wiser! Now, Eddie wants to go and we ALL have to convince the wife! Well, let me be the first to tell her, she will absolutely LOVE it! Hope she is not the jealous type mind you, cause there will be a lot of embracing!!!!! The spouses who went last year, SPEAK UP! Tell her she'll become an FAHS'er in an instant!
Ken, anything with a German flavor thank you!!! Hey, I have 4 growler bottles from this Restaurant/Brewery here in town, want me to mail em to ya!!!!
Sue are you making our wristbands? I want the one with the most Glitter!!!!!LOL I don't even know how to hold a glue gun!!!
There are so many of us missing! Chelsea Carter, can't you pull some connections with the AP and have like an article written in every major news paper about us! You know I'm crazy like that, I'll start sending e-mails to the Today Show and shit! I'm serious! We have got to spread the word across the world, maybe I should start with CNN!LOL I know, I know, everyone has a computer these days or access to one and if they want to find us they will! But maybe just maybe they think there is no home to go back to! Anyway, I do forsee in the future these reunions being a yearly happening that will get bigger and bigger with time! Remember Steve Bush, I have good premonitions!!!LOL
Poov, if our oh so bitter friend from the Bay dares to step one freaking eye ball in this guest book...Well I just can't imagine what will happen!LOL! As in the words of MC Hammer...."DON'T TOUCH THIS!"
Dennis and Poov, if some girl with long curly hair runs up to you at the reunion and starts hugging you without words...that'll be me!LOL
Sheila, its called MAKEUP, a lot of it! LOL
Well, my forever oh so extended family, till next time...
Michelle 86
Robbie, Start getting that beer cold, It's only 3 weekends away. For all the beer enthusiasts that will be in Orlando, I have a little set-up at home where I make my own brew. If anyone has any requests, I'll make up a few Batches before Orlando and bring them with me. Let me know your flavor at kab15@msstate.edu. Ken Bush '86
Hey Everybody! I'm so excited about seeing my familia again. Kansas was the bomb and I think we all left with an empty feeling. For those of you who didn't go last year, there were so many tears(when it was time to leave). We were like kids leaving Summer Camp.(lol) Now its time to see each other again...I think the bond only gets stronger each time.
I have to admit, there were a lot of people(in Kansas) that I didn't hang out with or even really know in high school. None of that mattered because everyone there was showing love, friendship, and how its still possible to get buck wild in your thirties. Not to call anyone out but, I must mention some FAHS girls that are impressive in their ability to party hard and look great the next day....Chris P.,Michelle, Judy, Missy, Pat, Sheila D, Gina J., Lina B., Lynn, Lisa,...forgive me if I left anyone out.
Anyway, I'm glad to see alumni from the 70's - 90's on the O-town list. I do rememember a lot of names here on the message board(Tank, Mike R.). I've been trying to get more people in the D.C. area to go. A lot of (outsiders) think its silly to keep going to reunions like we do, but its been said so many times, "Unless less you went to Frankfurt High in Germany, you can't possibly understand". I noticed in Kansas that a lot of other school alumni, did not stick together like Frankfurters.
I know I'm going on and on but reunion time makes me reminiscent. Judy, Marty Manglona has a new duty station in Hawaii I believe. Chris Perez heard from him, so I will have to ask her again to be sure. Michelle, you be careful with all the upcoming travel. Can't wait to see you'all in Orlando.
-Sheila H.(85)
Judyyyyyy love ya girl...lol I'm still here just got my hot glue gun fix...heehee So who is counting down the months and days???? me! me! me!:-) We are fam-a-lee my sister brother and me and something something shit I think thats how it goes...lol you all know the song! so help me out...lol woooohoooo I am so excited! I can't wait wait wait!!!!Michelle hugzzzz girl cant wait to see ya and all you party animals!! Don't forget about the glitter wristbands....hee hee love you all!!!!!
Supatra (sue) 88'
Hey ya'll, has anyone heard anything from Marty Manglona? After KS last yr.. kinda lost him... ya know... I sit here at work, and have the most shit eating grin on my face.. enough that people are always askin me what am I thinkin.. and I reply with one word.."Orlando".. When I came back from KS last yr I kept writing about how seeing everyone who I thought I would never see again, has affected me.. and had the same look on my face. They will never, can never understand the feeling of being a part of such an important influence on my life.. and the reconnecting with friends from my past.. true friends.. that share the "bond", the connection. I am even more excited that others than the 80's will be joining us in Orlando!!! Poov, Denis, can't wait to meet ya'll !!!! I can't wait !!!!!!!!!! Woo-Hoo!!!!!! Sue.. havent heard anything on your end lately.. what's goin on? You packin yet?, LOL!!!!!
Hugs & Kisses....Judy'85
Hey Rhein Mainers,
Talked to Eddie today... he REALLY wants to go in August. Now it's just a matter of convincing his wife. :) I'll be working on her too so hopefully it will all work out.
Chrisy
...Oh yeah, Chrisy...As I understand it- you're pretty talented your own self!
Stroh all around, guys! See you real soon!!
The Poov
Yep, he's older 'n dirt! (Come on Cliff-trying to get you going here...)-he probably can't post during work! Anyway- he accompanied me a couple of summers ago when we were doin' a few tunes at the lake...so besides the fact that he's one of my best friends in the whole world- he's one talented jammer too! I know, Chrisy- geez oh pete- we're ALL older than you <giggle>...but at least we look young-for the most part! ;-) Love to all, The Poov
78...80... I just knew he was older than me. :)
Cliffy sings a great rendition of Melissa... he's very talented. Let's get him booked!
I'm looking forward to meeting you and Dennis, Lisa.
Chrisy
Sooooo, Cliffy Crawford is now from the class of '78? LOL!! How'd ya manage that, Cliff? Anyway-sure would be grand if Cliff ('80) brought his ax to the O party! He can play a mean guitar! ...even though he won't take credit for being that good- I think y'all oughta get on him about showing- I mean, dang, he's only in Tampa! Send him mail and lots of it! BTW, Michelle, I'm surprised our "buddy" from CA hasn't shown up on this guestbook! Now don't go making any invites, there...ya hear? Anyway-Dennis (The Prez) and I are looking forward to seeing you guys in August! Thanks for inviting us to your way cool party! Love, The Poov
I, personally, will never be old. :)
Chrisy '82
Well unfortunately my parents were one of those who received the letter about the Spain trip and guess what...there was no way in hell I was ever going to be allowed to go! Junior year went to Greece and had a ball...froze my ass off but had great fun! Senior year went to London. I laugh when i think about all of the places I have been while living in Europe...what great life experiences that I cherish. Funny thing is at the time I didn't respect all of the castle trips mom and dad drug us on (oh no not another one!) Now I can't wait to get back and really appreciate all of the those things.
Hey by not going to Spain I didn't miss anything...stories, craziness yes...but my friends who went still were my friends when they came back.
I am so looking forward to seeing my friends again, new and old (and I don mean that in age sense...who is old???? Not us!). WOO HOO...
Just wanted to share... Sheila, 85
Mikey R., dude I can taste that german beer already!Man I can't wait, anybody bringing the pommefritz and wurst, gotta have the those to chase the beer down,lol... Michelle, my brother Jesse is in the Air Force going on 17years now. Him and Tomi married right after he joined in 1985. You almost knew those two would get hitched, but last this long, would have never of guessed it. They are doing real well. Man we are getting old,lol..you believe it has been almost 20years since going to Spain. Man all I remember is drinking Sangria till I had fruit coming out my ears and then going to the "Revolution" to try and catch one of them laser rays they shot all over the place then waking up on the beach. That happened the same in '83 and in'84. Man what a life. City of Orlando you are in trouble!!
Later, Tank '83
Michelle, Time will fly by here soon as you all start the process of your PCS. Hang in there Aug will be here before you know it!
Missi I owe you a phone call! Sorry! Crazy here and i am exhausted...no excuse i know!
Susan I am going to Dallas this wekend and will check out the options for hotel then and get back to you and Missi after Sunday.
Talk to you all soon! Hugs, Sheila D, 85
Susan, the anticipation is torture to me! Hell, I still have to move to Alaska, spend 12 freakin days on the ALCAN (Alask/Canada Hwy), not that it won't be a great experience, but it just makes me feel like the reunion is so damn far off!
I can't wait to see so many of you! Hey guys, don't forget to bring any and everything you might have from your FAHS days! We have got to find so many more people! Has anyone from c/o 84 done the e-mail all about the reunion on classmates.com? I could write a book of names that need to be at this thing, and I was only at FAHS from 84-86! When I left Germany in 1988 I knew on that February day it would stay with me forever. I can't wait to see you all.
Michelle 86
God guys- this just keeps getting better!!! Chrisy, Debolt was ib Dallas in '99, for that reunion, anyone heard from him since? Can't wait to see ya'll!!! LOL-Missi '84
The enthusiasm is amazing. Michelle, I love reading your comments. The anticipation of seeing everyone is making the wait a killer. Hope we will have more from the class of 84 show up. This is one party no one should miss. Can't wait to see everyone. Love, Susan 84
Tank.....I love you buddy. I will be at the airport with several cases of German Weizen Bier. Sandy and Jacki, I look forward to seeing you after all this time. Eddie? Where are you? Chris Hogan,I look forward to seeing you again. Where's Robin Goodwin....Hell, she doesn't even know.(Minn.) To everyone coming or planning to come to "O" Town, I look forward to making new friends and harrassing my old friends. Mike Roithmeier "83"
Chris Debolt... whatever happened to him? Anyone know?
Chrisy
Chrissy, my parents didn't have CLUE! We got to Germany in Feb of 84 and the Spain trip was in April. I met Lynn and Lisa Swaim when living in the Hotel on base. My mother thought Lynn was just wonderful, (she worked in the bar downstairs and my mum played the slots!) and we kinda made her think that the Swaim sisters were going too! I bet they don't remember that!LOL I didn't know who the hell I was rooming with till the last minute! Chris DeBolt was the only ASS, I mean person who gave me hell for going! I went again in my Junior year and that time they sent out letters really WARNING parents not to let their kids go on an unsupervised journey to Spain! But shit, we still managed to get a hell of a lot of people to go! Damn, such naughty little lying brats we were!!!!LOL Never made it in my senior year since I went to school for onlt one classs! Didn't really want to go, all the people I had grown to love so much were all gone! Sorry fellow classmates of 86, nothing personal!
Yea, it was one hell of a journey, I loved Spain, and Rob your right, I wouldn't want to miss this reunion either! Hell, I am spending over 1200 bucks and taking two kids, flying 12 hours to go!!!!LOL Damn I better get a prize! LOL Of course if we get Jesse and Tomi to go they can get first place!!!!LOL
Michelle 86
Well Michelle, I'd love to say that I was going for fun, but that's not the case, I'll be working. But it's not really that tough of a choice, I'd much rather get to see everyone in Orlando, than have to work in Spain. Plus, Spain isn't going anywhere that I know of, but this party in Orlando is a once in a lifetime thing....
Rob Lynch
Your parents let you go to Spain as a SOPHOMORE, Michelle?! That's so not fair! My dad wouldn't let me go as a SENIOR unless I had a military escort of selected SPs along with me.
I remember having to go back to school and for the rest of the year hearing jokes and references to Spain that I never got. How sad is that?! :)
Oh well, I survived. But that's probably why I went so completely nuts when I transferred to Ohio State and didn't have any parental supervision.
I'm working on Eddie... but he's Mr. Family Man now so I'm not sure he'll go. :(
Chrisy '82
Rob, man you have a choice to make! You know I love my Frankfurt family so much...but SPAIN! Well hopefully you can do both!
Tank, you gave me goose bumps! I didn't realize Jesse and Tomi are married! WOW! That is so cool! Is one of them in the military? Maybe they can get a hop! I went to Llortet de Mar with them in 84 (only sophmore who went!) and I have an AWESOME photo of them on the bus!
Damn, can't wait to everyone, is it August yet?
Michelle 86
Hey Everyone! Can't believe I had my sister Sandy talk me into coming to the reunion! But I'm glad she did! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone! Wow! Where has the time gone?!!! I'm counting the days! Jackie Parker 1983
Ok....Long time reader, first time poster. Yes, I am looking forward to having a few beers with the Bush brothers next month. Anyone else coming to Atlanta, just let me know....I always have cold beer in the fridge. As for Orlando, I'm still not sure I can go yet....supposed to be going to Spain around then, but hopefully I'll know soon. Rob Lynch - '86
Hey Tank and Missy cant wait to see ya!!!!!!Marcel probably will not be coming with us. chrisy i hope you can get your brother to come!! It will be a blast. see ya in orlando!!!!!!! sandy parker 84
Missy, you asked if anyone has talked to Robin Goodwin, I have. She is going for sure to Orlando. Actually she will be coming with her brother Todd and Cathy Seviola. They are all flying in together on Wednesday. They better be there, Mike Roithmeier and her are supposed to be picking me and the wife up that evening, we'll be getting in about 8pm. We'll probably have our mini-reunion then,lol..downstairs at the hotel bar. Everybody is invited. Parker girls glad to see you two are gonna make it. Wow, who the hell is left...we have till August to get them all. Chrisy is working on Eddie. I sent all the gathering info to my bro Jesse and Tomi, but they live Okinawa now so I don't think they are gonna make it. Chrisy you asked about my airfare, I went with Southwest Airlines on the "Friends Fly Free" Package. Check with them and use that phone number and code that Les gave everybody. Good deal!!
Later All, Tanker '83
Hey everyone, A mini-reunion. Me and Steve will be going to Atalnta the weekend of 10-13 May and we will be staying with Teri Hall. Robbie Lynch is in town too so we are all going to see the Braves play and paint the town. It'll be a blast. We'll drink one for everyone and I'm sure the hot topic will be Orlando. Let's see how many of these mini-reunions we can come up with. Have a great day! Ken Bush '86

Ya know me, any excuse to have a party! Big "T", can't wait to see ya again!!! Chrisy P., It will be great to see you too, I saw you said you remember me, I remember you also. KUDO'S to the prez of this website, I'ts so great to visit and see so many names that I recognize! Les, You already know from our oh so long conversations that I think you've done such an awsome thing that means so much to sooo many people, We all love ya for it, and I will see you on Memorial day weekend. We're all about a little PRE-PARTY! LOL. And like I've said before, anyone else thats in or around Dallas Come on with yo come on! ha. The bigger the better! Has any one talked to Robin Goodwin? Eddie Green, I have a suprise for you! Why isn't your name on the list? I know Mike Prochniak is, are you guys sharing a room? And what about Curtis Pitts, my "escort" at the most critical stages of the reunion!!!!LOL I have to do at least ONE pool side sunrise with ya! I guess Eric Gladney is staying with relatives? Music Please.... YA'LL READY FOR THIS? LOL!!!!!!!
Just one of those days where I get really excited just thinking about it!!!LOL
See ya Soon! Michelle 86
You're so funny, Tank. When I forwarded the original email to my brother, Eddie, I said "Hey - you should go - all the Rhein Main Tree People are going to be there!" I used to tease him about that all the time. :) What about Dan... Robertson (? I think). He was Eddie's best friend and I don't think they've talked in years. Has anyone heard from him?
It's going to be so much fun to see everyone. Email me and tell me what kind of deal you got on your airfare. I was going to go on priceline or expedia.com - but you get the worst flying times with those services.
Can't wait to see Tank, Chrisy '82
Hey all, how is everybody doing? I'm there baby, just got might tickets. Man Southwest Airlines has a hell of a deal going especially coming out from California. Thanks Les on the Airline tip. Once again buddy you are doing one hell of a job, you and Paul. Keep up the good work, I think I can speak for all, this wouldn't be happening it if weren't you guys. People let these guys know and anybody else involved in getting the word out, what a great job they are doing. Crissy P. any luck on persuading your brother Eddie to come out? Mrs. Missy(Hildebrand)I proclaim you the "Queen of the Gathering", girl, by the sound of these comments I've read, things just don't happen unless you are involve. As they say out here in California, "YOU ARE THE WO(MAN)"!!! "Rhien-Mainer's" we better rock the house baby, we have a rep to uphold. I was just thinking, we need to pick a "TREE" in Orlando to meet at because if you all remember from the day, it was the place at FAHS where Rhein-Mainers clicked,lol....maybe a "Flughafen","AYA","4 Stories", just some ideas,lol... Any suggestions!! Anyway, It will be nice to gather again and remember. All of you better have your "Groove" on. I will not take no for an answer when the right song comes on!!
Later All, Tank class of '83
I'm the one that made the comment about Cliff's band. I'm just used to the Munich Message Board where your name is automatically put on whatever you post... sorry... (she said sheepishly)
Live entertainment would be great - especially if they let me sing a few songs with 'em. :)
Looking forward to it, CHRISY '82
You tell em' Sue! I hate it when people make comments and don't leave their identity!!!!!! Chicken! LOL
MICHELLE (LA CAILLE '86) FALDOSKI
Hell! this person is never happy! first it was the wristbands now the registration table. Sheeshh! Ya know what dude! don't make Les mad, don't even go there...lol There aint nothing wrong with the wristbands and helping out at the registration table. So if you don't like it don't come!!! Cliff, a live band sounds great!! Run that by Les and see what he thinks of it :)
Sue 88'
What's on the agenda for entertainment? Cliff Crawford (Class of '78 AND he lives in Florida!) has a band - and a group of Frankfurt people that play at the Hartwell (is that what they're called) reunions... just a thought.
Registration tables? What the hell is that? Sounds like a dog and pony show to me...registration tables??? Gufffawing....
Michelle, I'm not in Alaska, those Florida Gators sometimes get mixed up and can't tell what's going on. Hell, they get mixed up all the time. Hey Paul, what happened at the SEC Basketball tourney. Did I see that MSU beat Florida AND won the tourney. Surely that was a mistake.....LOL. Can't wait to see you Paul and everyone else. GO DAWGS! Ken Bush '86
How's everyone doing? All is pretty quiet on the update front. The only new item to report is that there aren't anymore rooms being blocked for our group!! This doesn't mean that there aren't any rooms available at the $79.00 per night rate. The hotel has told me that if you call and identify yourself as being with the "FRANKFURT REUNION GROUP", they will still honor the $79.00 per night rate IF ROOMS ARE AVAILABLE AT THAT RATE. The rate being available will depend on how their hotel fills up with regular reservations. If their filling up quickly, then they will drop our rate and you will have to pay either $99.00 - $125.00 per night. I would highly suggest that if your planning on attending, make your reservations sooner vs. later. Why have they stopped the room blocks? The big reason is because almost everyone on the current attendee list has reservations. The few that are left haven't gotten back to me in regards to what their intentions are as far as hotels are concerned. Also, I've heard there are still a number of alumni that are planning on attending, but they haven't gotten with me yet. I can't read the future, meaning I can't take any chances on blocking more rooms that can't or won't be filled. There are alumni that have been able to get the $79.00 rate even after our 75 room block had been filled. The good news is that we have filled 81 rooms on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. Wednesday evening is a little lower at 35 rooms. The bottom line is we have alot of rooms being occupied for our gathering and I'm sure we'll fill even more.
I've seen and heard a few comments regarding the wrist bands for our gathering. The only reason we are having these is to ensure that YOU GET THE FOOD AND ALCOHOL THAT YOU HAVE PAID FOR, NOT SOME GUY OR GAL OFF THE STREET TRYING TO GET A HANDOUT. You may not get asked to show your band everytime, but if and when you do, you'll need to be able to show it or you won't get served. I don't care if you stick it in your pocket and pull it out when asked by the catering folks. Just ensure you have it with you during our functions. I'm not trying to be an ass or anything, just looking out for your money.
I'm also looking for volunteers to man the registration table on both Wednesday and Thursday. The table will be located in the main lobby of the hotel, so as people are checking in they can register for the gathering as well. The hours will be from 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm Wednesday, and from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm on Thursday. I would like for people to work at the table in 2 hour shifts. Please email me with your name and time that you would like to volunteer for. I need two people per shift. Below are the times, just let me know which shift you would like to have.
Wednesday - 12:00 - 2:00 pm 2:00 - 4:00 pm 4:00 - 6:00 pm 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Thursday - 8:00 - 10:00 am 10:00 - 12:00 pm 12:00 - 2:00 pm 2:00 - 4:00 pm
As another reminder, the number to call to make your room reservation is 800-624-4109, and tell them your with the FRANKFURT REUNION GROUP. Also, if you haven't started making your travel arrangements, remember Southwest Airlines is offering 10% off of their rates for our group. The only number you can call to make these reservations is 800-433-5368 and give them the group code number of J5261.
I've already started receiving checks for the big event. Again the total is $135.00 per person and this check needs to me made out to Les Sandlin and mailed to 5277 Seasonbrooks Lane, Imperial, MO 63052. If your planning on bringing your kids and want them to eat with you either Thursday or Friday, email me with their ages so I can give you pricing for them. Remember these checks are NON REFUNDABLE, and I need to receive them NLT July 1, 2002. Everyone who pays will be receiving wristbands for the various events. The hotel staff will not serve you if you don't have one of these bands. You will receive all of your wristbands and other information on the weekend when you arrive at the hotel and register.
Below is the current attendee list for the big event. Starting with this list I will have it broke down into three groups. The first group will be those that have paid for everything. The second group will be those who have made their hotel reservations and/or live in Florida and won't need a room. The third group will be those who have notified me that their planning on attending the gathering but haven't done any of the above yet.

Michelle, as for poolside, sunrises, and drinks? I can handle it. I will bring all needed requirements to poolside. Can you handle it? Hee. Glad to be home and soooooo looking forward to seeing everyone soon.
LOL, Steve Bush '87
Hey Missi, I didn't give up on ya either. My email WAS jacked up and I didn't get any email for a couple of days. Sorry you had to put the website through so many times. I will get on the phone and see what I can find for hotels and get back to you guys. It's only a month away. :) xoxo Susan '84
Ok Ladies and Gentlemen,
As some of you may have heard, Tiffany Reardon and I are a hot topic of discussion that will be in Orlando together to answer all questions. Hee, Hee. Yes, this is thanks to Witchita. Michelle, as far as poolside, sunrises, and drinks go; I can deal with it. I will take care of the drinks at poolside. We'll talk about it once we hit the ground. Glad to be home and soooo looking forward to seeing everyone again.
LOL, Steve Bush '87
Ken, are you in Alaska or is that a joke? If it's not where are you? I will be in Fairbanks in June, moving up to Eielson!
Paul, I forgot you lived in Orlando, DUH! I'll check out that site!
Missi, sounds good! We can work it out when we get there ok.
See ya all soon! Michelle 86
Hi again everybody!!!
I've just added the Class of 1949 "then" page. Check it out!!
Michelle Shawgo '85
From the list of attendees, I notice that there are many people from '82 missing. Come on, you guys - it's our 20th reunion!! What about Mickey Rivera, Paul Neeley, Kris Pederson, Jeanine Cogan, Linda Lackey, Mike Moody, etc., etc.!!
Robin Walters is going and so is Petra Johnson - they just haven't responded to Les yet.
Wayne, I sent you an email. :)

Missi... I did not give up on you! I promise...Dallas here I come! I can not wait. Got some others who may be interested but I was waiting for us to get our act together. I will call Sus and let her know what is going on! Also will give you a call later!
Can't wait till Aug!
Hugs, Sheila D, 85
Hey guys! Yes I'm still alive, just been really busy. Shiela, Les, Susan, ya'll are awfully quick to give up on me- If i had feelers they'd be hurt! ha. YES Dallas is still on. Susan, I have sent you the website with the streets four times, I think your mail is jacked. I suggest if we can't get any other deals we go with the Holiday Inn Aristocrat, it's in WestEnd. Shiela, I don't have you address anymore for some reason. And yes I believe Erica is coming with us. One of ya'll just call me if you have yet to get to the website(405-447-0444). Michelle, I got your email, I don't foresee it being a problem for Kalem to babysit, His cousin is also coming (they live in FLA) I think for the most part later in the evening he will be in the room either playing Nintendo or watching movies anyway, I just don't want to commit him to too much. I don't want him to miss out and He will be at the other events with us though. He thinks he's grown. ha! Like we all didn't when we were that age! Anyway, that should be fine. I'm getting really excited to see so many Rhein Main names! I keep getting emails from Cathy Saviola with more names from RM, good job Cath! OK, well- I just wanted to say hey and let ya'll know it's still ON for Dallas, anyone else in ???!!! If not I guess we'll see ya in Orlando.
Love ya'll- Missi (Hildebrand) Wedemyer '84
Hey Michelle--I live in Orlando and work for a company that plans events for meeting groups and associations, and we also sell attraction tickets. I am working with Les to organize this gig and have set up a website where you (and everyone else) can order special Disney tickets:
www.premier-tix.com/fahs02
I don't have access to any deals on Disney one-day tickets, but know that you are not able to buy the 2 or 3 day tickets anywhere! These are special tickets designed for groups like ours and are really great deals. The tickets come with a complimentary visit to Disney Quest (located across the street from our hotel) which is a $25 dollar value.
There is also an airport shuttle coupon on the site, along with an AVIS code that you can use to get a deal on rentals.
Ken--I didn't know they let Bulldogs in Alaska.
Everyone--this is going to blow Wichita away---guaranteed! Wichita sucked as a city (no offense to you Wichita folks) and we still had a blast. I am curious to see how big this thing is going to get!!!!!
Pauly P '86
Amy, what thoughts...... OK, maybe a glitter band one night, but only after I see the glitter body lotion, that should be a treat. Becca, have you decided?! I hope so, it's going to put Wichita to shame. To all my fellow '86ers, lets keep the tradition going of being THE class of Frankfurt in the 80s. Rock on! Ken Bush '86
I was just wondering if there is anyone who actually lives in Orlando that might be going to the reunion? Just curious, looking to get the best deals on Disney Tickets!
Michelle '86
Just wanted to say hello to all FAHS '82 grads who plan on attending. I hope I will be able to free up some time to join you all at this terrific event.
I currently travel and work as a free-lance motorsports writer with many national publications including National Dirt Digest. Yes, I like dirt in my beer! If for some reason, I can't make it, I hope you all have a happy and safe time.
If you'd like to contact me to shoot the breeze, I can be reached at bayner3@attbi.com or on AOL IM at HustlinHoosier24

Hey everybody!!!
I have added admin and faculty to the yearbook pages. Garry Terrell '85 sent yearbooks to me from 1949, 1965, and 1990. I've posted '49 and '65. Some of you from later years will even recognize some of these teachers! So take a look. Thanks again Garry!
Michelle '86.... I look forward to meeting you!!
Michelle Shawgo '85
Glad
