Whew! I hope your Holidays aren’t going by as fast as ours are. As always we hope this message reaches you well and in good health. Prosit Neu Jahr we used to say on “Sylvester Abend” (New Years Eve) when our family would usually find itself in Saalbach, Austria. Having watched the “Fackellauf”, (the ski teachers and patrollers would glide down the slopes in the dark holding torches) we would inevitably set off some fireworks and enjoy a small glass of champagne to toast the New Year. Celebrating new beginnings is a great and positive way to anticipate whatever adventures life will treat us to in the coming year. There will be good times and maybe some not so good times, but we will live another year, God willing, and each of us will be wiser and older. J It is time for our Semi-Annual Fundraising drive for the continuation of WWW.FAHS.ORG! Help us keep bringing the fun of the Guess Who page, the Yearbooks, the Guestbooks, and all the other features of your website to you. We ask you to please reach deep into your Holiday/Vacation depleted pockets and make a donation to the website today. For any donation of $50 or more we will send along a VERY cool FAHS DVD. This masterpiece captures the essence of Frankfurt High. All I will reveal about it, is that it is Super 8 footage converted to DVD, with music, and you will not be disappointed. I would like to end with a salute to the Frankfurters and their children who are currently serving; or have served in the Armed Forces. Freedom isn’t Free and we owe what we have to their sacrifices.
