Eagles Crier June 2007 |
|||
|
Happy June First Everyone!
As always, THANKS to the volunteers at
www.fahs.org and THANKS to those who
have recently found us and submitted new material for the site! Please
read this month's Crier very carefully, you will see tons of new faces and
places. Welcome Home all you Eagles!
Good News all around to report this month.
The Super
Duper Leute Finder is operational again! If you have previously
tried to add or modify your information, or were searching for that
certain someone, please go now and take care of business. Also, as the
Eagles Locator Map
is tied to the SDLF, it is now working again as well. Plan your next
roadtrip and visit your fellow Frankfurters.
Hartwell XI was a HUGE success, we had more
than 30 alumni meet at the lake for the eleventh time in a row. If you did
not make it this year, we meet EVERY year on Memorial Day weekend, plan on
being there. While I'm at it, let me say THANKS to Clay Harmon '77,
instrumental in procuring and transporting the pontoon boat this year.
Also, as always a HUGE Thanks to Lisa '77 and Ron Worsing for all they do
to make the lake happen at all. Congratulations to the Class of 77 on
their 30th anniversary of Graduation!
As we head into the summer months, which
hopefully will give everyone some time to relax, perhaps vacation, and
most importantly time to reconnect with family and little ones, I want to
wish everyone a wonderful summer and ask you to keep our soldiers in your
thoughts and prayers. Make some time to familiarize yourself with what is
really going on in your community, your state, this great nation, and the
world. Be active and participate in your community.
As a tease to July, I should let you know that
our Semi-Annual Donation drive will kick off on July 1 and we have got
some really cool new stuff to offer you. For those who were at Lake
Hartwell you've seen the window decals and the fridge magnets. For
donations as little as $10 you can own these Frankfurt memorabilia, and
proudly display your connection to Frankfurt American High School. I hope
you all know how much I hate to beg for money from you, but just as an
example, in May alone we logged at least 38 volunteer hours, not to
mention the time and energy required to keep all the hardware going. So be
generous, consider a donation to
fahs.org
today!
Many Blessings to you and your Families!
With Love
Dennis 78 and the FAHS Web Elves
