Happy Independence Day! Thanks to those Brave Souls who stood up and created these United States 231 years ago! We hope the Frankfurt Family enjoys a wonderful 4th of July Holiday, surrounded by loved ones and breathing freedom bought through a Declaration of Independence! I know I am stirred; and I am not shy to express my gratitude to my Country through honest patriotism. This Grand experiment in Democracy lives on, and the line of people wanting to come here stretches long and far. Those who would come know what some here may have forgotten; there is not a better place on earth today than the United States of America. I am glad to tell you that I am a first generation American and I love this Country, my Country. I am thankful for all its opportunity. I am thankful for the idea that others gave their lives so that I could have the freedom to choose my way. The idea that there are Unalienable Rights and that Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness are among them. And that because of those rights we can choose to live under a government of our own choosing. What a concept! Of the millions of citizens around the world that live in freedom now, many owe their freedom to men like George Read of Delaware, and Oliver Wolcott of Connecticut. Thank you to the 56 men who signed that Declaration, the best way I can honor them is to quote here the last line of that Declaration: "And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor." There has been a lot of activity at the website this month and many, many new faces. We hope you enjoy this month's Star-Spangled version of the Eagles Crier.
