Ray Jackson '79 Iraq
| I am a class of 1979 guy who had to leave in the last
half of my senior year:( My mother was diagnosed with cancer and returned
to the states for her medical care. She passed away just after I graduated
from Ft. Knox High School that summer. I immediately joined the service and spent the next 26 years as a Attack Helicopter Pilot, flying Cobras and Apaches. I retired as a Chief Warrant Officer Five in 2005 and immediately went back to work for the 101st Airborne Division at Ft. Campbell as an Aviation Logistics Analyst. I was contacted just before Christmas of 2006 and asked to come to Baghdad to work in the Multi National Corps Headquarters. They were in desperate need of a person with Aviation Logistics background, thus I arrived on the 24th of Dec 2006. You might say I flew formation with Santa:) I loved my time in Germany at Bad Hersfeld, Fulda and Frankfurt American High. I was a Dorm student, so Frankfurt High was my family and my life during those years. You may post this note for me, with pictures if possible. The pictures are within the last few weeks as I did site surveys. You may leave my signature block attached and old friends feel free to contact me, I will be happy to respond. Thanks Again Ray J.
