| Picture submission tips: |

There are several sections of the fahs.org web site where people are
encouraged to submit pictures (i.e. The "Then and Now" Yearbook, We
are Family, The Photo Album, etc.) Scanning photos is not an easy
task, but for those who know how to work their equipment and software, we have a
couple of requests:
- If you can scan your pictures so that the file size is between 50K-85K,
that would be great. This saves a lot of time on the part of our
hard working volunteer staff. Also, pictures larger than this make the
web pages load really slow. If you don't know how to do this, please
submit your picture anyway. We'll try to find someway of dealing
with it.
- .jpg or .gif files are the preferred formats. Other formats
don't show so well.
- Pictures for the "Then and Now" Yearbook - try to make them
approximately 2" wide X 3" tall - with the file size as stated
above.
- Pictures featuring nudity or embarrassing moments are to be encouraged, as
long as the person exhibited is okay with it. Hey, we're still
kids at heart.
