| My fellow Eagles of all years: Let me begin by saying thanks for your many warm compliments regarding the site. Many of you have written to say that finding the site has been an emotional experience; believe me when I say it is no less so for those of us who make it happen. Your letters touch us. This site was conceived and is maintained by a bunch of us from the mid-late 70’s. As you can see, serious effort is underway to use it to link all Eagles of all years with their past. We have found each other largely via the Internet, and we love using it to reconnect former Eagles with their friends and themselves. Check the website for details, and see how easy we've made it to join us for our regularly scheduled Friday night chats. We host a party with kegs of German beer and roast swine at Lake Hartwell, SC (on the GA-SC border) to which all Frankfurters are invited. Come swim, dance, hook up with old friends, and make new ones. Again, the details are posted at this website. Fahs.org is supported entirely by Frankfurter time and money. Yes, it takes hours and hours to assemble this stuff for the delight and amusement of Frankfurters worldwide. After much wrinkling of our already wrinkled brows, we finally came up with a way Frankfurters can help support the effort without selling anything, and here it is: You can support the cause by signing up for your own vanity email address and EaglePage. Our work and home ISP addresses aren’t always easy to remember, and usually don’t mean much to old friends trying to find you.
